Mother's Day is fast approaching and whilst some people may find it a straight-forward holiday others find it churning up all sorts of feelings.
Everyone is unique, some of us have our mothers around, some don't, our relationships and experiences are completely different...
...so let's do Mothers Day with a difference too!
Here at Happiness Is Handmade we are turning it in to a celebration of ALL mother figures.
That's not just your mum...

It's a time to say thank you to all those who act like mothers and help us be better mothers...
