Cedarwood & Rosemary Goats Milk Soap
Cedarwood & Rosemary Goats Milk Soap
All of our goats milk soaps are mild, gentle and caring, suitable for all skin types including those prone to eczema, psoriasis and dry skin.
Made with Cedarwood & Rosemary essential oils it’s a very masculine soap, ideal for those hard working hands!
Rosemary essential oil is fantastic for dry skin and can help to reduce puffiness and swelling, while cedarwood can help reduce itchiness. Both the essential oils are anti-bacterial and antiseptic and we’ve added nettle, which is rumoured to do wonders for circulation.
Soap Bars are all hand cut, and therefore may vary in size, and shape. However they all weigh a minimum of 90g, and are closer to 100g!
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Goats Milk, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Cedarwood Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Nettle
How are they made?
These Goats Milk soaps are made by a small business in Hampshire, UK, using an ancient, traditional method known as the cold process. They mix quality, ethically sourced, natural oils with an alkali mixture, known as lye, which is made from raw goats milk from their own goats. Once all the ingredients are mixed the soap is poured into handmade wooden moulds to set for 48 hours. The soap is then hand cut into individual bars and left to 'cure' for a minimum of three weeks, leaving a gentle and caring bar of soap, delicate enough for even the most sensitive of skin.
The soap is a natural tan colour, but they do use natural herbs (mostly grown in their own garden), and root powders to add gentle swirls of colour and texture. All of the fragrances used are just pure Essential Oils. There are no harsh chemicals like sodium lauryl sulphate. Just 100% pure, natural ingredients. No Palm Oil involved and all soaps are suitable for vegetarians.
Why Goats Milk?
For hundreds of years, it has been believed that goats milk has exceptional moisturising and healing properties. It is a similar pH level to human skin, and is naturally high in vitamins, minerals and Alpha Hydroxy acids, that nourish and rejuvenate. Goats milk soap works particularly well for sufferers of eczema, psoriasis, and dry skin problems. Some dermatologists are now suggesting trying goats milk soap on problem skin, those with eczema, psoriasis and dry skin, before using 'conventional' products. Goats milk soaps are also excellent on normal skin, and can help prevent any problems.
